Barrier
Proposal Holds No Appeal.
You
would think, would you not, that the recent
complaints by NHSiL that West Lothian Council
was guilty of wasting taxpayers money, that
they were above reproach when it came to their
spending of the taxpayers pound. But it seems
not!
Despite
a very reasoned refusal of planning consent,
and the fact that the criteria for car parking
charges were under review by the Scottish Government,
NHSiL pressed ahead with a foolhardy appeal
AND an award of expenses against the Council.
We
are pleased to say they failed miserably on
both counts!
Call
me a cynic, but doesn’t that smack of
hypocrisy?
